[last batch of summer vacation photos]

Bye, bye California and your many gorgeous flowers! See you again soon, I hope!

Another stop in Vegas. The view from our room at the Excalibur.

Some lovely creatures at the Mandalay's Bay Hotel's Aquarium.

We got to touch the sting rays! They felt so smooth.

Love the winding drive through the mountain canyons between Vegas/Utah.

The best ever fast food place - Cafe Zupas in South Jordan, Utah. Freshly made salads (mine had mixed greens & berries & crushed cinnamon almonds), soups, sandwiches and desserts. Real, tasty food! Healthy for ya! We need Cafe Zupas here in Edmonton! Please and thank you!

These photos are from downtown Salt Lake City.

Had delicious home cooked lunch at the Lion's House Restaurant (freshly baked buns!). The vanilla cream soda I drank there is the best pop I have ever had in my life!

Visited the home of Brigham Young.

Not enough time in Salt Lake City on this trip. Wanted to see more. Next time!

On our way home, we saw this statue in Butte, Idaho:

Our Lady of the Rockies is a white, 90-foot-tall statue of the Virgin Mary, set high on a hillside overlooking Butte.

Gotta love summer road trips! Until next time...
